This morning in my devotion I was reading Proverbs. In Proverbs 3:9 it talks about honoring the Lord with your wealth and the best part of everything you produce. And that God will keep producing for you giving back even more than you gave out. I was thinking about this scripture. I begin to think about how our society revolves around money, that big financial circle that goes round and round. Today, our economic financial profile isn't looking too good. But even in that state of our economy, God's word still stands. Do you know it's people in our economy who's aren't feeling much of a sting from our economic failures? Everyone isn't suffering. Proverbs 3:9 is a spiritual law and it works for those who's hearts know it.
Meanwhile, everybody has their hand out for more of your money. This can be very discouraging. Every business is trying to take advantage of consumers raising fee's and adding on false services to take more of your money. Fear gives into greed and greed wants to get in your wallet. You can tend to close down your openings to giving and shut your wallet even tighter because the whole world wants in. Even so, we still have people out there who are really in need, places where your wealth (
God's Blessings) can work in honoring the Lord. Don't get discouraged in helping others with your blessings. I know that people tithe and in that you have to trust the leadership to put it in the right place for the Lord. Even preachers can get greedy. But there are place where your wealth can work for someone else. I'm saying all of this to say, do not get discouraged when it comes to opening your doors of help and wealth to those truly in need. Bless them and God will keep you wealthy and open up your storehouse doors for even more! Find someone in need and give!
